Back on the Block

Occasional writing on Indigenous governance, federal policy, and the work of building things that last.

I've spent a career moving between worlds — federal systems and tribal nations, national security and community development, the courtroom and the classroom. This is where I write about what that's taught me: about governance, about policy, about the slow, deliberate work of building institutions that serve the people they're meant to serve.

New pieces appear here occasionally — when I have something worth saying, not on a schedule.
